In this pivotal year of the conflict, the Union Army, under the leadership of Grant, made significant gains against the Confederate forces. Grant strategically attacked the Confederates on multiple fronts, although he failed to secure decisive victories against Robert E. Lee. Despite this, Grant successfully depleted Lee's forces, while Sherman's capture of Atlanta and seizure of Savannah on the Western front proved crucial.
With innovative features like the new Map Zoom feature, you'll have a greater view of the battlefield as you lead your forces to victory. The high-definition graphics further enhance the immersive experience.
The game offers a variety of campaigns and missions, including a tutorial campaign to help you get started. You can play all missions from both sides, except for the tutorial.
Experience historically accurate combat with eight unique Civil War units, including infantry with muskets and rifled muskets, artillery, generals, wagons, naval gunboats, and dismounted and mounted cavalry. Choose from four classes of infantry and utilize different formations for various tactical advantages.
