Civil War: 1864 is the latest addition to the Civil War strategy series by HexWar Games Ltd. Immerse yourself in the intense battles of 1864, offering a unique perspective on the American Civil War. With over 40 missions, including 20 historically accurate battles, this game delivers an unparalleled experience.

In this pivotal year of the conflict, the Union Army, under the leadership of Grant, made significant gains against the Confederate forces. Grant strategically attacked the Confederates on multiple fronts, although he failed to secure decisive victories against Robert E. Lee. Despite this, Grant successfully depleted Lee's forces, while Sherman's capture of Atlanta and seizure of Savannah on the Western front proved crucial.

With innovative features like the new Map Zoom feature, you'll have a greater view of the battlefield as you lead your forces to victory. The high-definition graphics further enhance the immersive experience.

The game offers a variety of campaigns and missions, including a tutorial campaign to help you get started. You can play all missions from both sides, except for the tutorial.

Experience historically accurate combat with eight unique Civil War units, including infantry with muskets and rifled muskets, artillery, generals, wagons, naval gunboats, and dismounted and mounted cavalry. Choose from four classes of infantry and utilize different formations for various tactical advantages.

Strategic movement and detailed combat analysis add depth to the gameplay, while flank attacks keep you on your toes. The game offers hours of gameplay on both iPhone and iPad devices.

For those seeking additional content, there are purchasable extra campaigns available. These include 'Duty and Pride,' 'Blockade,' 'Freedom Calls,' and 'Road to Atlanta,' each offering seven or eight unique missions.
